As rural healthcare faces unique challenges, our decision to specialize in emergency services allows us to concentrate our efforts where they are most needed. Mahnomen Health will remain a Level IV Trauma Center and Accredited Stroke Center, providing enhanced critical care in emergencies. Mahnomen Health will offer Observation Bed Status rather than Inpatient Status. We will care for transitional patients as Medicare Part A patients in our Care Center for comprehensive post-hospital rehabilitation and recovery. This setup allows residents of Mahnomen and nearby areas to receive continuous care while staying close to home.
