Lights of Love has grown into a very cherished gathering at Mahnomen Health. Each year, our community and residents gather to honor or remember those who brightened our lives and continue to do so in our hearts. Each light on the tree holds a memory, a name, a moment worth preserving.
A $5 donation places a light in honor of or in memory of a loved one. These gifts support the activity programs that bring joy, engagement, and restorative care to our residents.
Event Details
On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., we invite the Mahnomen community to join us for Lights of Love at Mahnomen Health. It’ll be at the Care Center, located at 414 W. Jefferson Ave., Mahnomen, MN 56557. This year, Tim Eggebraaten will provide entertainment. The evening will include carols, a blessing of the tree, and the reading of names of those honored or remembered. Guests can also visit with one another and enjoy light refreshments.
A Gathering for All
Lights of Love began more than two decades ago. Over the years, it has grown into a meaningful gathering filled with love and connection. A local auxiliary group initially organized the event, but Mahnomen Health later took it on. Since then, they have continued the tradition with care.
This gathering is open to all! Whether you’re a resident, family member, staff, or a member of the wider community, you are warmly invited to join us. People from near and far are welcome to honor and remember those they love most, and to create lasting memories with us at Lights of Love.

Donations
You may purchase lights with a $5 donation. You can dedicate each light in honor of or in memory of someone special. In addition, these gifts support the Mahnomen Health Care Center’s activity department, helping us offer meaningful activities and restorative care throughout the year.
